Hi I'm Michael, a Portrait, Wedding, Wildlife and Landscape photographer.
"I PICK UP MY CAMERA TO FIND THE BEAUTY IN THE SIMPLEST MOMENTS
Capturing light, feelings & moments and all the things in between people and life is a passion of mine.
Born and raised in the heart of East Anglia, from the small town of Newmarket, I spent most of my youth there before attending a boarding school near Matlock in the Peak District where I studied music and media, hence my love for film making. Now grown up and living the life of an adult (Which still surprises me this day!) I moved to Cambridgeshire.
I've always loved picking up a camera and go wandering outside, It's always been where my heart is. My calm, my space, my time to shine and show the world how i see the word through a camera lens. As they say, home is where the heart is.
Photography isn't my main career though, in fact my full time profession is a 'water fairy'... Yes you're wondering what that is right? well here's another way of describing it... we run into buildings putting the 'wet stuff' on to the 'hot stuff'.... and if you still haven't quite guessed, my main career is a firefighter. So working with people comes naturally with me. Taking people for who they are and I've always believed I can connect with people easily .
Despite all though I have never been taught how to take a picture, I don't have any qualifications, or anything that on paper says I'm a skilled photographer. All of what I know has been all self taught and I'm still teaching myself new things everyday.
01.
Fact 1
I was born and raised in the heart of Suffolk, meaning I'm born to the countryside. Hence my love for nature.
02.
Fact 2
My love for landscapes comes from my first trip to Scotland back in 2016. Where I had my first drone and captured as much of the highland mountains as possible.
03.
Fact 3
Just like with my photography, I enjoy the simpler things in life - being out in the fresh air, eating good food, drinking nice coffee, and enjoying stunning views.
04.
Fact 4
I'm 100% self taught in my photography. Always looking for way to become more creative.
